Itinerary

To make the adventure of the short Inca trail is to live to the fullest in a short time, and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds this route, always with the aim of reaching the maximum wonder of the Inca world Machupicchu. Our adventure begins:

Day 01: Cusco – Km 104 – Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes.

We start very early, we pick you up from the hotel to transfer you to the town of Ollantaytambo by 01:30hr. in the course you will be able to observe very beautiful Andean landscapes, arriving at the station you must take the train that leads you to Km. 104, arriving we start the guided walk for space from 02 to 03 hours we pass through the area called Chachabamba – Choquesuysuy; along the way, we will appreciate the beautiful forestation, combined with waterfalls, the Sacred Valley, and the Sacred River, after a short rest, we continue the ascent to the Wiñaywayna mountain, a wonderful place for its architecture, you will be able to appreciate enclosures for the cult of water, and its ceremonial temple and above all the beautiful terraces that served as a place for crops.

Continuing the walk, you will descend towards the Sun Gate or Intipunku, on the way we can appreciate the beauty of nature surrounded by begonias, orchids, and a diversity of native flora and fauna. After almost 01 hours of walking, you will be able to appreciate the first view of Machupicchu Mountain and Huaynapicchu. Since the walk was exhausting and the day is ending, we took the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes to recover energy and take a good rest for the next day.

Day 02: Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco

Very early after breakfast, we start the ascent by bus to arrive with a lot of energy at the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, Upon arriving, our guide will make us a tour of the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel. We will make a tour of 02 hours guided approximately, we will visit the agricultural area, formed by sets of cultivation terraces, the urban area where they developed the main civil and religious activities.

We will also visit the Intiwatana located in the highest part of the citadel, the temple of the sun, the condor, and other important sectors. Later you will have a short free time to go to some places on the way out. At the end of the tour, we suggest going down immediately to the town either walking (optional) or by bus, where we will provide you with a refreshing and delicious lunch.
