Itinerary

• Day 01: Reception at Lima Airport:
  • At arrival time contact our driver at Lima airport.
  • Transfer to the designated hotel
  • Accommodation and rest.
• P.M. City Tour In Lima with Catacombs of San Francisco:
  • Contact with the guide at your hotel, then you will start the tour, first of all, you will go to the area known as old Lima.
  • Walk along the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martin, just walking towards the Plaza de Armas of Lima where you can see the Government Palace (on the outside), the Municipality of Lima.
  • Arriving at the cathedral you will receive a guided tour, and culminating the visit you will go to the cloisters of the convent of San Francisco, you will know the Catacombs of the same name that keep a lot of history to discover.
  • At the end of our tour, you will go to the area known as modern Lima where you can appreciate the Parque del Amor, the Oliver de San Isidro, the area of Miraflores, Larcomar, where you can see the Pacific Ocean, optional if you wish you can buy some souvenirs of the place.
  • Return to your hotel (optional to stay in this place to have lunch on your own).
• Day 02: Transfer Hotel/Airport In Lima – Welcome and Reception in Puerto Maldonado:
  • At the indicated time, transfer from your hotel in Lima to the Lima airport to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado.
  • Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Biodiversity Capital of Peru, we will meet you at the airport. Then, we will start our program with a bus tour of the city.
  • Afterward, we will head to the Puerto Capitanía Port to embark on a motorized boat and navigate the Bajo Madre de Dios River. During the trip, we will be immersed in a fascinating natural environment, hopefully, we will observe Ronsocos, Caimans, Turtles, Herons, Cormorants, and other species of animals. At our lodge, you will be welcomed with the delicious nectar of Amazonian tropical fruits, and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow). A succulent lunch will be waiting for you in our cozy rustic dining room.
  • M. COCHA CAIMAN After satisfying your palate, you will be driven by our specialized guide through an interpretative trail conveniently signposted to the Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon with an abundant presence of black caiman and white caiman specimens.
  • At the end of the afternoon, back at the lodge and from the river bank, you will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, an experience full of colors in welcoming shades and intensities.
  • In the evening, a delicious dinner will be waiting for you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board game room and provided with all the drinks you can imagine.
• Day 03: Visit to Apu Victor Lake in Puerto Maldonado:
  • The magic begins with the bird songs of the Amazonian paradise, waking up with the song of the howler monkey. A succulent breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.
  • After breakfast, we will begin a hike into the depths of the forest, along specially prepared trails, with bridges to cross the streams and rivers.
  • During the walk we will observe the flooded forest and a variety of Flora and Fauna range and continuing, we will arrive at the majestic LAKE APU VICTOR, of crystalline waters, surrounded by immense swamps and gigantic trees.
  • Afterward, we will go up to the AMAZON VIEWPOINT, from where we will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos (Hoatzin which is a type of wild hen of prehistoric appearance), Herons and other animals, such as Caimans, Turtles, etc., and if we are lucky, we can observe the Giant Otter; one of the most spectacular animals of the jungle. On the way back to the lodge, a refreshing lunch will be waiting for you.
  • M. MONKEY ISLAND In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island; a unique place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, five minutes away from the lodge. During the walk, we will observe extraordinary landscapes, with an exuberant flora, sheltering a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as Maquisapa, Capuchin, Leoncillo, Fraile, and hopefully other species of animals, such as the Coati and Sloth Bears, as well as a great variety of birds.
  • Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Then, we will return to the lodge and conclude the day with a nice dinner
• Day 04: Transfer Lodge Puerto Maldonado Cusco:
  • After a good night’s rest, breakfast awaits you in our dining room before returning to Puerto Maldonado, in time for your flight back to Lima or any other destination.
• Day 05: City Tour (Half Day):
  • 13:30 The city tour begins with the pick up at your hotel, first, you will visit the basilica Cathedral of Cusco, famous for its antiquity as it is built on Inca foundations, this religious site keeps paintings of the Cuzco school.
  • Then continue the tour, and you will go to the Koricancha also called the Temple of the Sun, this place is considered the most sacred of the Inca times, even today you can see its impressive Inca architecture walls intact, and the story goes that they performed cults to the father Sun and the moon and the importance they had were covered with gold and silver until the arrival of the conquerors.
  • Continuing the bus trip we will visit the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, incredible for its Inca constructions, cyclopean walls of great height, very important ceremonial place, and fortress considered one of the most unique Inca works of the Tahuantinsuyo.
  • Continuing the visitors head to the place called Qenqo, which means “labyrinth”, perhaps by the labyrinthine subway galleries or small channels carved into the rocks in a zigzag pattern, and as the last place to visit will go to the archaeological remains of Tambomachay, this formed by a set of finely carved stone structures, aqueducts, and waterfalls from the springs near the site, this place is considered one of the pillars of the Andean cosmovision.
  • We return to the city of Cusco (duration of the service 04 hours approx.)
• Day 06: Sacred Valley (All Day):
  • 08:30 A.M. We will contact you at your hotel to start the trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we will enjoy the view of impressive landscapes surrounded by the mountains and the surrounding rivers, a valley full of life and greenery.
  • Then we arrive at the town of Pisac we head towards the archaeological park of the same name, impressive because it is surrounded by Inca terraces that show the great work developed with their crops, you can also see fine buildings of great texture, then as a relaxation, we go down to the craft market of Pisac place where you can find a variety of handicrafts of the people of the region where highlights the silverware, weaving, and ceramics,
  • Then we will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the valley. Continuing our trip we will go to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, which was a strategic military, religious and agricultural center, exceptional for its style and originality of its Inca walls and impressive terraces.
  • At the end of the visit, you will go to the train station to board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes,
  • Upon arrival reception and transfer to your assigned hotel.
• Day 07 Cusco Machupicchu Cusco (All Day):
  • 06:30 a.m., Breakfast at your hotel, then immediately you will be driven to the train station to board the train that will take you to the town near the Citadel, town of Aguas Calientes, travel time 03hr45.
  • Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting for you to coordinate with you and board the bus to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, a trip for 30 minutes.
  • Arriving you will have the entrance and start the guided visit to the most relevant places, the religious sector, the urban area, andenería, and stairways of great texture; after 02 hours. guided tour, you will have some free time to explore on your own some places not visited;
  • At an appropriate time, you will head back to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch at a restaurant in the town,
  • After tasting Peruvian gastronomy, you will go to the train station to take the train back to the city of Cusco, where our transportation will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel.
• Day 08: Day Off In Cusco:

  • Breakfast at the hotel, at the agreed time, and transfer to the terminal or airport for your return to your place of origin.
