Itinerary

  • Day 01: Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Salkantaypampa.
    • Pick up at the hotel around 04:30 a.m. to start the trip to the town of Mollepata.
    • They pass through the village Mollepata (3000 masl).
    • Upon arrival in Mollepata, you will contact the muleteer and horse support staff.
    • In Marcoccasa the hike begins in a magnificent valley surrounded by impressive mountains with eternal snow, such as the Humantay at 5217 masl, and the snowy Salkantay at 6264 masl.
    • Visit the Humantay Lagoon (4,220) considered one of the most beautiful on the hike for its blue-green waters that reflect the surrounding mountains.
    • Our first camp will be in Salkantay pampa (3900 masl).
    • TRANSPORT TIME : 3 hours 30 minutes.
    • HIKING TIME: 6 to 7 hours.
    • Day 02: Salkantay Pampa – Challway
      • After breakfast, we will leave for the highest point of the road to Nevado Salkantay (4650 masl) which offers an exceptional view with its valleys and the spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
      • After enjoying the wonderful view of the snowy Salkantay, the descent begins, and you will have time to enjoy the vegetation and the ecosystem, rest, and have lunch in Huayracmachay.
      • They resume the walk to the town of Chaullay, changing landscape, from mountains to vegetation where you can see fruit plantations, vegetation, forests, and tropical climate.
      • The second camp will be in Challway, in the middle of the rainforest.
      • HIKING TIME: 7 hours.
      • TRANSPORT TIME: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    • Day 03: Challway – Wiñaypoco – La Playa- Lucmabamba.
      • After refreshing breakfast, start the walk in the middle of flora and fauna, low jungle vegetation, and observe, waterfalls, coffee plantations, and fruit trees.
      • You will descend to the beach area to have the last campsite of our trip.
      • Dinner
      • HIKING TIME: 6 hours.
      • TRANSPORT TIME: 2 hours.
    • Day 04: Lucmabamba, Llactapata- Aguas Calientes.
      • Breakfast early and then starts walking.
      • Visit Llactapata surrounded by beautiful nature.
      • First view of Machu Picchu from Llactapata, time to take photos.
      • Lunch
      • Then you must continue with the walk to the town of Aguas Calientes, a duration of 02 hours.
      • Arriving they head to the designated hotel.
      • Dinner in a restaurant
      • Accommodation and rest.
    • Day 05: Visit to The Citadel of Machupicchu- Cusco.
      • Start the day, walking through the mountain until you reach the citadel of Machupicchu, approximately time of 01 hour.
      • Entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu.
      • Guided tour for 02 hours. by the most relevant places of the Sanctuary
      • Bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes.
      • Return train ticket to Ollantaytambo.
      • Transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco, to the hotel designated by you.

      • Reservations must be made at least 1 month in advance.
      • All personal information is required to proceed with the reservation. 
      • The participant must carry his/her own backpack during the Inca Trail (including a sleeping bag and mat). 
      • If for any eventuality the passenger cancels the service or desists from continuing on the trek, 100% of the service will not be refunded, except for the entrance fee to Machupicchu and the train ticket from Aguas Calientes to Cusco).       
      • The participant must declare if he/she has any illness or personal treatment, and must bring his/her own medication. 
      • The agency will not be responsible for natural problems (landslides) or other problems, in case of strikes and delayed train departures. 
      • All participants must bring their original passports.  
      • If the visitor is a student, he/she must bring his/her student card validated by the educational institution of his/her country, it is only accepted until 25 years old.

      • To book the Machu Picchu tour, we request a deposit of 250 US dollars per person to ensure the income to the citadel and at the same time the train tickets for Machu Picchu, in this way, we guarantee the date and time of your next visit, the remaining balance must be paid up to 24 hours before the start of the tour. If you choose to pay the balance by card, in our office located in Cusco, a commission of 3.9% will also be applied.
